Eyes for You

$9,000.00

59” x 40”

Beginning with a drawing printed onto fabric, I did dense stitching in the quilting process, mostly straight horizontal lines. I then stitched layers of sheer fabrics over parts of the surface, around the eyes and the spiral toward the bottom of the piece; covering the surface with yet more stitches. Each eye is given eyelashes to express a kind of sweetness. Just a touch of white paint was added to reflect back to the viewer a little speck of light.

For any questions, please feel free to get in touch.
