Most of my art quilts since the mid 1960's have been pictorial, mostly appliques and fairly experimental. I LOVE that we can do drawings and then have them printed onto fabric and quilted...its very fun! A few of my quilts lately have started as cat faces printed onto fabric, then cut into squares and patched back together for fun! Perhaps a welcome variety!
